I do want other people who are considering your product to know that it works well. I had my data on a raid set with complete copies of my information stored two discs. When my raid crashed, I tried to restore it and accidentally pushed a wrong button. I then had to reinstall my operating system. Because raid has been such a problem, I reinstalled Windows, in a standard, non-raid setting, in its own partition. Virtual Lab Data Recovery is incredibly efficient and stable. It allows you to recover data after the hard disk has been damaged or formatted. All you have to do is let it guide you through the different steps of the recovery. It couldn't be simpler, even beginners can do it. Your software has recovered all my files in the sector mode search on an unreadable dynamic volume -as described by windows, which had two partitions with important data throughout the years. I have made a hasty movement and in a windows XP instalator I saw an unpartitioned 20GB space and a dynamic volume. I made a partition of that 20GB, but it was added to the dynamic volume, and in windows other two partitions discontinued to be visible on the only computer that has seen them so far !! My... “Worth every penny”

Tried several other products that promised results, one didn't find anything, the other just a smattering of files. VirtualLab Data Recovery, though a little unintuitive did the job. I had mistakenly installed XP pro over the partition where 15 years of files - Kids mp3, pics, excel, word docs, text files...I wasn't watching. It did a format, then installed over all my stuff. So while attempting to backup my 250GB of music files I... wait for it... formatted my drive! So I thought to go download a program and try to recover the files myself. But before that, I called a computer repair company I knew it had an office down the street from where I live and they told me it would cost me $750-$3500. I could write a glowing review of this recovery software that I purchased. I recently returned from a New England trip in the Fall and I came back with over 1,800 photos. I am doing this for my father in law's network which lost all three of his volumes due to bad blocks...SYS, VOL1, and VOL2. I tried different products but nothing did what they were advertising and with Virtual Lab Data Recovery, even from the demo version I could see the missing files and needles to say that it also got all of it back. I just wanted to write you with a giant THANKS! I was quite frustrated that a random glitch in either my Kodak camera or in my external hard drive had made the pictures unavailable. 1. The Web-site is a lure site. 2. Support never return your emails. 3. Chat support never works. 4. There are reports on the internet of poor service. 5. THE FREE SOFTWARE DATA TOOLS DO THE SAME RESULTS. 6. DON'T BE RIPPED OFF. The software is VERY slow on a low level legacy scan, 2 days for 500gb and likely never to finish it. First off, the product works, the old versions do and the new once as well. However, even if you once purchase an unlimited licence (unlimited amount, unlimited period of use, unlimited time of use) of this product they will periodically require customers to purchase a new version as the previous is "no longer supported". I always think that having a backup is the best thing there is, but when my backup hard drive crashed and I had to format one of its partitions, I though that some of that data will be lost forever. I then found out about VirtualLab Data Recovery which I easily used to get all the data I needed from that formatted partition. I can't believe how fantastic the VirtualLab program worked! I thought I'd lost all my photos, but I recovered 95%+ of them. I feel like a complete Wally, as I lost the photos in the process of backing up onto my new external hardrive. I re-partitioned the drive on my macbook, thinking that I'd backed-up on to the external, when I found only empty folders (I didn't verify). So I had to recover from the re-partitioned drive. It sounds like your rvceoery partition is corrupted. If you can get to it through my computer then right click on the drive and then select tools and then select check disk for errors and tick both boxes and try that. If it don't fix the problem then you will need a Windows XP disk to restore the computer.Good luck
