    Good Points: Pretty colour

Bad Points: 1.Customer service is rubbish 2. They send statements to you by e-mail even if they dont have your e-mail address as in my case and when you delay paying this you get a hefty penalty. Ask yourself, who did get my personal details, they couldnt answer it! Now after 2 letters of complaint I have received a letter advising my credit limit is being reduced.

General comments: If you want a credit card go through someone where you sit and talk to them face to face.

They made several mistakes but the last straw was when they took over £200 from my account via direct debit AFTER my account had been CLOSED FOR OVER 10 DAYS!!!I found that out 2 weeks later. I was the one that had to call them and state the problem and they won't pay the interest I've lost during this 2 weeks due to THEIR MISTAKE...it was just ludicrous to talk to the customer service representatives as they really make sure you realize that they don't care at all!I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MI ...

I should also mention that I am a platinum cardholder. If that's the best that platinum cardholders get from the Mint Card/Royal Bank of Scotland, then I shudder to think of the service levels that other cardholders get.

I would not recommend MINT to anybody, the customer service was very unhelpful with me. My credit balance was £ 05.00, unfortunately that month I couldn't pay it, they charged me an extra £12.00 to my balance. I contacted the customer service several times. They were unhelpful. I have been a customer with MINT since last 3 years, when I joined it was good, but now?????

I have spoken to many different customer care reps for Mint on the phone and one is as useless as the other, if I had a tail I would have been chasing it for the last 3months instead I've just been running in circles for no reason at all. Each new person you speak to will give you some different and often conflicting information that does not help. Only once have I got off the phone and felt satisfied that I had received quality customer service. They are in no way helpful and they just don't se ...

The customer operators are very unhelpful. Mint add penalty charges to your bill for anything, more so than other credit cards. Your bill is hard to read, as they try to hide the penalty charges.USE THE MAIN BANKS FOR A CREDIT CARD, AS THEY ARE THE BEST eg NATIONWIDE, BARCLAYS etc.

I am currently applying for a refund of unfair charges on my account. The call centre staff are unhelpful and appear to read from a script. I would prefer to take out a loan than use a Mint credit card!

I have had my Mint credit card for 3 years, and I have never had any problems with their service. When I applied for my card there was no charge for balance transfers. However, they now charge at 2.9%, which is around the same for most credit cards. They also had a very competitive offer of 11 months interest free credit on balance transfers, which at the time was one of the best deals available for credit cards. I see now that they still compete well with other cards, with 0% balance transfe ...

Something has gone badly wrong with this card. It was never cheap, but it had the best-trained, most efficient and most helpful customer service people. Either morale has slumped badly or they're employing people with minimal charm and training, or the card is under new management who seem determined to lift as much money as it can, and to disregard the normal process of keeping customers informed of changes regarding the Mint credit card.

The Mint credit card seems to be a good card. I came across Mint by seeing the excellent adverts on TV. I'm not the sort of person who really likes to wait around after posting off applications to see whether I have been accepted or not. I went to the Mint website to apply for one of their cards, as they give you an instant decision within 60 seconds. I filled in all the usual details etc., and I hit submit at the end. Waiting for the page to flick over, I was very surprised when it said applica ...

If you fail to settle the balance in full, you will be charged interest on the total amount you have spent, not the outstanding balance. I think this is a rip-off!

My daughter has just had her Mint Credit Card stopped after the initial interest free period, with no explanation, but that they are tightening up there lending etc. She only had a limit of 400 and used it sensibly. Unbelievable!

The Mint credit card is a good credit card if you are looking for large limits and good rates. Customer service is poor, and due to one missed payment through no fault of my own I had my 0% interest revoked, and they are now subsequently losing my business.

The 8p per minute should be reviewed, I believe BT gets 2 or 3p , and Mint pockets the difference, A customer service call, should be free or at least 2p per call, specially if you have to deal with answer machines that keep you waiting for long periods ! Also operators should be a bit more courteous, not with the don't care attitude....

Nothing special about this Mint Credit Card Classic card compared to my other Gold cards, hence I hardly use it. They refused to upgrade me when I wrote to them. Beware of conflicting information between the letters and statements they send - in my case one said they would collect full payment, the other said minimum. In the end when I phoned I had to pay by Switch because the direct debit had not even been set up!!

The Mint Credit Card offers cash back, 0% balance transfers and low on going APR. The mint credit card also has a curvy corner making it lighter to carry. This means I can eat less and save even more money!
