    Good Points: The Safari Garden Hotel offers the perfect location and combination of factors for any independent traveller, beautiful setting in the tropical garden with the cleanest swimming pool. Perfect location away from the madness of the Senegambia area but only 10 minutes drive for it, only 10 minutes walk from Fajara beach. Very professional and friendly staff, you really feel at home, wonderful food, try the chicken Yassa, a 5 minute walk from the main road. Local taxis are available at very cheap rates, be prepared to negotiate and most of all the opportunity to enjoy the real Gambia. Staff are all very happy to advise you on any activities, which would make your experience unique.
    One other good point is that if you are travelling by yourself you will never feel lonely there!


    Bad Points: Can't think of any, maybe one, once you have been there, it is difficult to leave and it is not a surprise that many people decide to extend their stay or keep going back! Like me!


    General comments: With the help of their amazing Gambian staff, Geri and Maurice have certainly succeeded in the making of this place, an oasis for relaxation and enjoyment. This was only my second time at Safari Garden, which will be followed by many more! It might have been cheaper for me to go on a package holiday in one of the Senegambia hotels but you can be sure that the little more you may pay is worth every penny!
    Thank you to all the Safari Garden staff who made my stay so special!
