General comments: When we arrived at the Aparthotel Los Fiscos, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the self catering apartment we were placed in, although we were half board. The reception staff were very pleasant and the apartments were kept relatively clean. Right, that was the good bit. The bar staff consisted of one extremely miserable Spaniard who did not like anyone. I think he was there to frighten off all those on all inclusive from drinking too much. The restaurant was just awful! Peas and green beans for breakfast, I mean come on! It was above 80 degrees all week and th air conditioning was never on. What's more, Manuel the miserable barman also helped in here as well. The food all week was awful, in fact guests on all types of board ate out, including those on all inclusive. I just would not want to try and describe the food to explain just how bad it was. All week it was like this until the very last day, this happened to be the day a large group of Spaniards booked into the hotel, not that I am suspicious or anything! Lets get on to the entertainment, how do I describe this? Basically non-existent, poor kids. The entertainment staff was a homeless Dutchman who spent all week chasing anything in a skirt. There was the odd quiz that lasted around 20 minutes and one game of bingo. Fairs fair though, one night they had a singer, well I think those noises squealing from his vocal chords were meant to be songs. Puerto del Carmen was OK and the taxis were excellent. This hotel was at the top of a hill and that was not very good for most people, even the relatively fit, never mind those with any physical infirmity. To sum up, change the bar staff and put on some decent entertainment. Make the food the same as the last day we spent here, turn on the air conditioning, clean the pool once in a while and we may consider staying within 30km of the place at some time in the future.
