Good Points: Good at grouping and consistantally fires with good power and takes down rabbits at 30m with punch.
Bad Points: A wee bit on the heavy side, and wobbles the longer you aim free hand.
General comments: The cometa 300-s is an all round good gun for the money and duribility,get for vermin control and the stock with built on silencer makes it look better cosmetically.must have if your just getting into the shooting game.

It is a very consistent rifle, i hit a .5" grouping at 25 metres and was hitting pegs all around my garden, for the money the Cometa 300 S is possibly one of the best springer i have,

I purchased my .22 Cometa 300S (silencer/carbine) for £130 and was immediately impressed with the rifles overall quality.
The ambidextrous stock is made from a very attractive piece of Beech covered with a warm, deep, satin finish and pleasant grain, and very comfortable to hold. The quality of the wood is very high and a QD stud for my removable bipod is still firmly in place, without the need for glue etc, after considerable abuse.
