I've got two of these, AGS Saphire Mill Dot telescopic sights, and they've never let me down. It consists of a one piece tube, completly sealed and Nitrogen filled to prevent moisture getting in.

It is a 3x9x40 mm lense. Which means that at minimum magnification the sight picture is 3 times larger than life and at maximum magnification it is 9 times. I've had this scope (AGS Sapphire Series 3-9x40 mil-dot) for about 12 months now, paid £55 for it when it was new as i was short on cash at the time. i had it on a Weihrauch hw77 .22 until my recent purchase of an air arms s200 (which is were it is now, well, till i get a new scope that is, lol),

Firstly,
I would definitely avoid this scope for a spring gun as you have to reset the zero point on the scope every 20-30 or so shots as the recoil knocks it out all the time (if you hunt, it... (read more)

Im getting this scope for a Gamo shadow 1000 with a Hawke single mount. if your probolem occurs with all scopes of that type then can you suggest something of the same price and magnification that will stay zero'd in?
