    Good Points: Clear, liquid, 3D soundstage, timing and dynamics, makes music pure and simple


    Bad Points: looks very plain, not the deepest bass, very fussy over front end. Sounds ordinary with cheaper CD players.


    General comments: The Pioneer A300r precision amplifier sounds pretty wonderful with matching Precision CD player. Sounded ordinary with Marantz 63se and Sony 920e. Tried amps from Audiolab (pre-power) more slam but less music. Arcam 9 pre-power (no dynamics in comparison).
    Amp is future proof also through further Tom Evans upgrades.
