Great for Teens - I gave these Nike Dunk SBs to my friend and he loves them. His favorite color is green and red. This was a win, win for me. As you know, it is hard to get so good products. It was great to see his smile; he had to check his look in the mirror. (read more)

I really love to wear the Nike Dunk SB Basketball shoes. They look fantastic and are very comfortable. Though I have to say that when I tried them on court, I wasn't that comfortable with them. (read more)

Check this out. The Nike Dunk SB's are about the most active skateboarding shoes out there right now. They have a feeling of loafers but the durability of Timberlands. The colorways are by far the best including the infamous 'rainbow dunk' or the new edition 'oompa loompa dunks'. Sounds sick doesn't go check them out, there the ultimate sneaker head shoe. The Nike Dunk was originally a basketball shoe that started in the late 80's. As time went on, the dunk was revamped and the skateboard team of Nike chose to adopt the Dunk as a skate shoe. In this process, Nike added the Zoom Air insole to the shoe, extra padding around the heel, and a fat tong for even more padding. Then they added "Pro SB" to label it for skateboarding. SB stands for SkateBoard. Due to the modification of this basketball shoe into skateboarding shoes, the Nike Dunk... (read more)

Hmm, Interesting, must be because you're in Europe? Where I live (Sacramento, California) skate shoes go for about $70 where as Nike dunks go for $100-$120.

nike sb are skateable. nike dunks, now thats another story. dunks such as the cali's or oompa's or zambas are quite expensive ranginf from $150+.
i am a sb/dunks collector and i personally would not skate in $150+ shoes. the nike tiffany's, aka. diamonds are sb's yet they are rare and hard to find, so dont skate in those! lol

They are very comfortable for skating, and now even more comfortable for basketball than the original Dunks ever were. Make sure you get the Fat tong Pro SB's next time, not the thin tong regular ones!

The Nike Dunks are probably most skateboarder’s number one choice of skate shoe right now. Most skateboarders will argue that you’re bad points are wrong for the following reasons
1) They aren’t that expensive, £50 is cheaper than most skate shoes
2) They are just as strong as the most popular shoes from big skate companies like es, lakai and circa.
3) skateboarders don’t mind wearing Nike
