These are really useful, and they work. I can't say that they are as thorough as using a wire brush/jag on a cleaning rod, but they're a whole lot quicker and cleaner and there's no chance whatsoever of barrel or crown damage due to over-enthusiastis scrubbing and wiggling a rod about. As the cleaning pellet travels through the barrel it shortens in length and, expands to the width of the barrel allowing the fibres of the pellet to pick up the dirt on its way through. This does cause a popping… Read Full Review

Well basically these are cleaning pellets, made from a woollen cleaning felt, and are a purely natural product containing no chemicals!
Just pop one in you barrel (Maybe put a pellet behind), close it up!, and pull the trigger, that simple. It will clean your barrel of all sorts of nasties.
These are very absorbent and can trap large and small particles of dirt in their tangled fibre structure, although the only aspect (mentioned above *) is that there is no precise instructions to 'how' these… Read Full Review
