Good Points: The Hermitage Hotel is a nice hotel in a village location, with many restaurants from medium to expensive cost. Hotel clean and quiet, great value for money.
Bad Points: 10 Euros for private secure parking but adequate parking in square outside.
General comments: This is our third time in France, the first for about 8 years. We stayed in Northern France for 3 days over Easter. We took the ferry at 12:00 noon on Thursday from Dover to Dunkerque, which was really cheap compared to sailings to other ports and not to busy. Then to Le Touquet and Berck, before heading to our hotel in Montreuil. We then spent Friday and Saturday travelling as far as Dieppe, then inland to Abbeville stopping at lots of little coastal villages in between. The weather was fantastic though misty on the Thursday, at some of the coastal locations however I even got sunburn in April! On Sunday we traveled back to Le Touquet and along the coastal route getting back to Dunkerque for the ferry home at 20:00. Food was quite expensive but we could have cut costs by eating in less expensive places. Lots to see and do, we could easily have stayed longer without getting board.
