Good Points: The Mazda 3 2.3 Touring is sporty looking.
Bad Points: poor gas mileage compared to the advertising. I'm averaging about 26 mp imperial gallon. very thin sheet metal. not happy with the acceleration when more than one person in the car.
General comments: I bought the Mazda 3 2.3 Touring based on it's looks, and am regretting that choice. When I leaned against the rear door while gasing up it buckled. The dealer said, "oh, they all have thin sheet metal." The gas mileage is horrible for a four cylinder engine. There is a defect that allows the locked door to be opened by pushing hard on the sheet metal near the drivers door handle. Same defect also deactivates the alarm when the door opens.
