    Good Points: none

Bad Points: Can't call home or receive call from home.

General comments: The website to find more info about the Siemens A60 phone is useless. The menu that came with the phone is not helpful, at all. I wasted $176 dollars buying this phone. Because I had to use my regular cell phone most of the time during my trip to Europe. The C60 Siemens just would NOT work .

I would recommend it to someone in the older generation or for a first time mobile for a child because it is easy to use. The features are easy to find and use.

I love my Siemens A60 cellphone. With a SIM card, I can use it in the U.S. and also on trips to Europe (by buying another SIM for the country I am visiting). It has frequencies that can be used in the U.S. Europe and Asia. The communication is clear and it has never failed!

I had this Siemens A60 phone for over 3 years now and it's still working great. That's one of the features of Siemens phones - very resistant! My mother now owns it and she has no difficulties with it. The menu is quite easy to handle and the battery goes a few days just fine. It's a simple color phone.

I bought the Siemens A60 mobile phone for R320 with R25 air time from Cell-C. For the price it's not a bad phone at all. It's good as a first step to owning a proper colour phone.

When I bought my first colour mobile phone (the Siemens A60) I didn't expect much from it. I mean, it doesn't look any different from any other phone after all. But I was pleasantly surprised (this was 3 years ago) when I turned it on. I don't expect that you will be though, for this phone is very out-dated. But if you're looking for a reasonably simple phone that you just want to use to call people, check the football results or play the odd game now and again, it is perfect. Now you can probab ...

I bought my Siemens A60 used on Ebay for £5, as a spare to keep in the car. When I opened the box on delivery it looked very, very well used, almost as if it had been dropped from a high building! However, this speaks volumes for the robustness of the electronics. A new case and keyboard has restored it to pristine cosmetic condition. The battery, a 3.7v Li-ion, only held its charge for about 8 hours so this had to be replaced. I also note that the charger was not the Siemens original, and ...

I got the Siemens A60 phone in January for £30 including £15 top up vouchers (virgin mobile website) so really it was only £15.

It doesn't do much - it makes calls, sends texts, has GPRS internet, and has two games, but what do you expect for £15?
It is very easy to make calls and send texts, but when sending texts you sometimes dont know if the message has been sent because it displays 'message sent' for about two seconds then goes to the message editing screen.

WARNING! The Siemens A60's manual states that the battery is only designed to last for 6 months. See the "Battery Quality Statement" on p. 81 on the User Manual.

The Siemens A60 is not a bad phone if you just want a plain and simple phone with a colour screen and polyphonic ringtones. But if you want an adventurous mobile this is not for you! It is boring and has not much to do. So, don't be persuaded by the colour screen and do a silly thing like buying it.
That's about all I have to say about this mobile.
    I'll give it a 5/10.

If I was you i wouldn't buy the Siemens A60 mobile phone. It contains lots of bugs, and does not always work properly. Maybe you can buy the Siemens MC60? :-) Don't know if that one also contains bugs..

Purchased my Siemens A60 from a high street Mobile Phone Shop, cost £49.95.

Very easy to use, nice to hold. Clear colour screen.

It has two games, stack attack, and magic picture.

At the end of the day it is a very good phone for the money.

In general for the price the Siemens A60 is not a bad phone but is missing some useful features.
I purchased my A60 for £60 including 3 DVDs free from Vodafone online store UK.
They are now £80 on the online shop minus the DVD offer what a price hike.
Carphone Warehouse are selling the C60 Multimedia Model with extra memory and extra features and this model takes an attachable camera and is also Tri-Band for £69.99 on Virgin. I had one for a friends father on 02 from them an ...
