Good Points: Mini RSP,
This is really the last true cooper before engine management systems took over so they are reasonably easy to work on
Bad Points: As with any classic mini rust can be a major problem if you see surface rust expect worse underneath.
General comments: The Rover Rsp cooper is available standard or with the "S" conversion also available the handling pack. I now have three of these minis 2 standard (1 of which is one of the original press cars used to launch it) and and "s" with handling pack. To tell a RSP they all have BAD in the chasis number

"It's widely regarded as the best investment among recent minis" The cooper Commemorative, as some call it, was lanched in 1990 and priced at £6995. some 1000 were made for the UK market, and a futher 650 for overseas. Its success was such that the full production Cooper emerged in October 1990.The RSP came in Flame red,British Racing Green and black. In each case the roof is painted white.
