Good Points: Easy, quick and can be put up and towed with little trouble. Was great to go away without husband and not rely on other people to give you a hand, as it is very easy for one person to erect. And incredibly quick if it rains. The swing out kitchen is handy for layby stops or late arrival pitches. Inside the trailer itself, was kept a folding table, chairs, lights, electic hook up etc. and once locked it was very secure.
Bad Points: There is one pole you must make sure you put into position correctly before packing/ erecting. Apart from that I cannot think of another bad point.
General comments: I owned a camplet for approx 5 years and part exed it for a caravan. Big mistake. As these have a hard top and have space for extras within and on top. It was quite easy to just decide to get up and go, myself, my sister and the young nephew, where usually away within an hour. I would phone her and we would throw a few clothes into suitcases and by mid /late evening would be set up down the coast somewhere. Our husbands left a note on the fridge, which meant either we all had fun weekends or the men joined us later. If the football was on, we never saw them of course! It towed with no effort, and the rack on the top meant that extra people could be accommodated. Although it sleeps four, there was plenty of room to accommodate more. We aquired an inner tent from a frame tent that went up at night, and was taken down and stored during the day. It survived gale force wind and rain, and now I have kids and have camped for the last few years, I am seeking to buy another. As hubby agrees with me that getting rid of it was our worst mistake.
