Good Points: 240 pics with rechargable batteries is enough for anyone, good camera for kids to pic up the basics of digital picture taking.

Bad Points: Low pixels picture quality low, any movement on picture makes for blured results.

General comments: The price tag of the Agfa Easy Pix SX is a lot of money for not much camera. (See Good & Bad Points).

I cannot recommend this camera in any way. The main problem is the very slow "shutter speed" making most pictures blurred. If you have people in the frame, you need to ask them to be still. A box brownie is better. I wish I had saved my money. I understand that it's a Dixons "exclusive", and I think I know why - no one else could get away with selling it.

Although the Agfa Easy Pix SX's manual says this digital camera can be used at any distance over 3 feet, I found that clear, in focus images could only be obtained from 8 feet.

The highest number of shots from the battery were 12 - which for the 240 shot memory card would require 20 battery changes.

Dixons claim the camera is manufacturerd by Agfa. In fact Agfa only license use of name. According to Agfa, Dixons are supposed to make clear that the camera is not manufactured by Agfa, but ...
