For the first time in my life there was actually affordable clothing for sale at a festival. The very first time. I am 35 and have been visiting festivals for some time. The beer SUCKED tremendously & was way over priced for light beer. I realize that they sponsored the event but they have no business doing so. the people at 102.1 severely lack respect for the artists as they showed up whenever they felt compelled to, the MC was very graceful in excusing them but there really is no excuse for tardiness. Wakestock is Highly over rated.

This was my first time at Wakestock and i absolutely loved it!
Everything was well organised, I couldn't fault the staff/stewards at all, they were very helpful and amicable. The only downsides to staying onsite was the lack of showers and the number of entrance lanes into the onsite camping area. I think more showers and more entrance lanes for next year will make a great festival into a fantastic one!

BAD BAD Festival. In fact would call it a kids disco rather than a festival. The marjority of festival go-oers were under 16 and obviously very immature. The atmosphere was therefore like being back at school - not good.

Camping facilities were great either, just one block of toilets for the entire camping area, crammed in even though it wasn't that busy, also a no gas stove policy thus you had to buy everything even a simple cup of tea in the morning.

The acts looked good on paper, but in ...
