Good Points: Superb sound quality RDS/PTY on tuner Auto reverse cassette program play and shuffle on CD player treble and bass controls one touch record sleek design low power consumption Active hyper bass pro long speaker leads Excellent remote control
Bad Points: None to report
General comments: I listened to a number of different makes around the same price range between £80 and £100 and nothing else compared to the JVC UX-H33. The excellent sound quality is consistent across CD, tuner and cassete, being clear and having good bass and treble, which are both adjustable via the remote control. Other makes I listened to fell way short on tuner sound quality, lacking in treble response. All functions are easy to use on both the main unit and the remote. There are a lot of features on this system that are not present on similar ones in the same price bracket. All in all a quality system that you would come to expect from such a top manufacturer as JVC.
