    Good Points: economical, hugely powerful, compact, can cook proper meals


    Bad Points: after a while needs a good clean of the jets and burner rings (no great shakes)


    General comments: It is excellent - Coleman Petrol Double Burner boils a kettle as if on 240v mains - the rings have the same power as my home gas hob - it doesnt smell of petrol - its small and light but can handle a 12 inch frying pan and a kettle - to prevent it getting clogged with soot (after 25 lights approx) use the stupidly expensive coleman fuel for 15 mins cooking and it seems to burn off the deposits - the twin mantle petrol lamp completes the picture - -- - i can cook and light (warm) a party of 9 for 1 litre of fuel per fortnight

    I have only had this stove for two weeks and bought it because of the ever increasing electric bill. I pay 35p per kw; if you boil 8 pots of tea it will cost £1.05 each day and that's before the pending 30% rise. With the Coleman stove, for the same cost, I can have 24 pots of tea. The stove is capable of taking two big saucepans and is also good when using a large wok. The stove came with a five year guarantee. I have a coleman single burner duel fuel stove that I bought around 1992 ...
