Good Points: Finished to a very high standard,no shakes or rattles, quick for a pick uplooks good, comfortable and enjoyable to drive, great forward view, good mpg, great offer that was too good to ignore.

Bad Points: It takes a while to get used to the poor turning circle and access/egress to the rear seats can bit a bit of a challenge to say the least, but to me these are minor points as I'm enjoying the drive so much.

General comments: I love this truck. I have the BT 50 TS2 version, bought in Jan' 09 and so far nothing to complain about. It is metallic black, with loads of chrome as standard, and really looks the part, although, of course, that is a personal opinion. It's quick for a pick up, comfortable to drive with plenty of grunt, so much so that many a motorist has been taken by surprise by just how quick it is.Having always been a car owner, the Mazda makes a refreshing change, sitting higher up it affords great forward vision, making anticipation so much easier, and has a presence on the road that makes driving fun again.I would heartily recommend this pick up, as it's practical, good looking, easy to drive and above all great fun.

We have always driven Toyota now we are trying a new Mazda BT 50 and WOW.
My wife and I love it although we have only had it 3 days but it is great we now fight over who's taking the Toyota and who's taking the BT50.
There is another test tomorrow we will be taking the boat out and we will see how it goes towing my 5.3 meter Whitley cruiser this will be the divining test between the Toyota Hilux and the BT 50
