Good Points: ease of use, simple controls, child lock on on/ off switch, soap/ conditioner tray easy to remove for cleaning

Bad Points: Door seal will develop stains if you do not keep it clean and dry. Be careful when cleaning it as it can come off with over zealous cleaning - see my general comments - may help you to refit door seal

General comments: To refit door seal if it has come off, take off outer seal ratchet strap. Carefully feed seal back onto rim put spring seal retainer on the side to door catch, push a screwdriver through door catch hole to keep tension on spring as you slowly feed it back on. The shape that the seal forms will tell you if you have fitted it correctly, pull the seal forward so it fits into the washing machine door hole, then refit the ratchet strap. Patience, dexterity and luck are required. Can't fault the machine for general day to day use- just be careful when cleaning the seal. The secret to longevity of washing mashines is not to overload them and leave the door open when not in use to prevent mould stains on door seal and an unpleasant smell, have had machine nearly fours years and it has had weekly/ daily washing use- long may it continue

The Zanussi ZT1014 washing machine seems to be perfectly adequate for the job, as it is easy to use with clear instructions, and it it also well designed, but there is a question mark on the component parts.
