Good Points: Nice drive. Nice looks. Sliding doors are ingenious. Diesel is strong and still quite cultivated. Very good driving position and precise gear leaver.

Bad Points: The AC makes fumes in the cabin in Nordic winter conditions - a bit on the strange side. The on-off seat heating is a bloody joke, my 14 year old Toyota Corolla was better in that respect - it at least had two modes.

General comments: Mine is a 2008 model and I have driven it 3000 Km. I 'm very satisfied. Tried out 5-6 different models before we bought the Mazda 5 and havent 't regretted buying the Mazda.

The Mazda 5 is roomy, middle row of seats slide, back row fold flat into the floor. Comfortable, after 5000+ miles including a family holiday to Bordeaux. Economical 10 miles per litre of Diesel. Nice turn of speed when needed. Build quality, nothings broken yet despite 8 year old twins being let loose.
Overall I'm very impressed with this car. I moved from owning Nissan's for the last nine years and my local dealership have been excellent.
