I work for an independent transport company and we regularly make deliveries for this company as they send a lot of stuff through our pallet delivery network,we are not connected to this company in any way. I suppose in the last year or so we have done somewhere around 100 deliveries for this company and I'd say at least 75% of the people I've delivered to were not impressed, mostly saying they've waited for ages for their goods to arrive... and its not the fault of the delivery companies i can assure you!!

On another note we are only paid to deliver to the nearest avaiiable point from the vehicle, i.e driveway,pavement etc, anything other than this is purely down to the driver's discretion, as for me personally i will try to help if i can but if its very heavy then dont expect miracles as theres only so much 1 driver can do!

Very poor customer service.
Website had sink advertised which was no longer manufactured, Trading Post happily took my money, promised to refund but nearly a month later I still have not heard from them.
Now having to chase them up.
Poor show.

Telephoned the order through and asked for a confirmatory email. Did not receive anything so telephoned again and also discussed delivery and told all 4 items including a range cooker would be dumped at the end of our drive and would have to be checked while the driver waited.If we did not, rain or shine ,damaged or not no refund given. Beware of the delivery terms and conditions! This company pay the courier for a 'kerbside only' drop. This means they will not bring the goods into your house and in our case a double oven and American fridge freezer were dumped on the drive at the front the house by a very arrogant delivery driver who said I'd have to get them in the house alone. Goods arrived damaged and incomplete. Company as in other cases hid behind their obscure and wholly impractical 'don't sign for it unless you have tested it' policy. How can e.g. a child, a babysitter, or anyone taking in goods for a professional to fit be in a position to fully inspect and test things with the busy courier there.
I rang - a long calm conversation got me nowhere. She said they would sent missing bracket/fixings but didn't.

After nearly a year I have finally settled my dispute with Trading Post Appliances.

If there had been a 0 rating I would have given that. Do not purchase from this company.

The goods arrived late and severely damaged, however as they had been signed for, TPA said we must have caused the damage. Their terms that you have to sign up to are contrary to the Sale of Goods Act.

On no account buy anything from these people - the prices may be cheap but the customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Bought a sink which was delivered late - returned sink and was told that as no proof of delivery existed they had not received the goods back despite the transport company confirming it had been returned to Trading Post. The transport company then had to pay me.

I would never deal with this company again I ordered a cooker 5 weeks ago I am still waiting for delivery I have spoken to the customer service Manager who was a complete waste of time she was very rude,arrogant no customer service skills what so ever promised me call back still waiting.
I have now cancelled the order PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!

this page is not long enough for all my thoughts on trading post. never again will i purchase before reading reviews.
this company is diabolical!
never buy anything from this company ever ever. we were lucky that we had paid by visa so we were able to get a full refund from visa.

Tradingpost Appliances Sent the wrong item on the delivery I sent it back with the driver (took my money 4/8/2009). Phoned to say had the wrong item to be told i had ordered it. Rude staff unhelpful defensive. Asked for refund told i had to pay for the delivery £50. So refund will be £329, I tried to get full refund. Would not recommend anyone to order from trading post appliances.Ordered fridge freezer on the 27/08/09 and i am still waiting to recieve it.
And i am the one doing all the chasing and phoning.Staff are very rude and unhelpful.Delivery dates keep changing from one day to the next.still donot know when i am going to recieve fridge.absolute joke of a company

ordered a splashback for £65, waited 4 weeks for delivery and turned up damaged. Tradingpost Appliances claim as I signed the delivery note then its not their problem. spoke to consumer advice who advised they'd broken the sale of goods act, still ongoing. company using stalling tactics hoping I'll forget it, just want money back (which they've had for 7 weeks)

I purchased a bathroom sink from Trading Post on July 1, 2009 and it did not arrive until a few weeks later. It had a deep scratch on the inside of the basin. I contacted them the same day and asked for them to retrieve the sink and refund. It took until August 14, 2009 and many emails and phone calls to retrieve the sink but I am still awaiting the refund even though they promised me a refund on 2 separate occasions. Do not be lured in by the good quality website offering quality products at attractive prices because this company will fail to deliver.

There will be delays on delivery, the wrong product will arrive, you will get frustrated by having to ring them over and over and not one of the employees will return your call - even when they promise to do so and getting a refund is like blood from the proverbial stone. I'd have given Tradingpost Appliances less than a 1 star rating if I could!

What can i say was a bit uneasy about spending alot of money with unknown company on net but first class communication,goods as described also asked for a specific delivery date to co-inside with kitchen fitters and that was matched good and friendly courier helped into house and over gravel drive as on pallet,first class service would not hesitate to recommend have not had this service from big companies.

Item arrived 10 days early from Tradingpost Appliances - cheapest on the interweb by about £250. Clearly a pile 'em high sell cheap type outfit, but the item was entirely as described and the courier was great.
