If you are planning to book a Jetairways flight than just away its better to travel on foot than go to JET, I had a problem with a ticket that i had booked via Cleartrip. Can you imagine the standard IVR says "we are experiencing high call volume your minimum wait time is 15 minutes". I tried four-five times during different hours of the day every time i held the line for more than 35 mins and no-one ever answered. Availed Kolkata (CCU) - Bangkok (BKK) flight departed at 1.30 pm from DumDum new terminal. Got the ticket booked through Cleartrip and it was the second time the airways company made the similar mistake of separating my surname from my middle name. I do a lot of travelling and have flown with Jet on 3 previous occasions, all on the LHR - DEL - KTM route. This trip I noticed that standards had slipped a lot. Check-in staff were fine, but from then on travelling with Jet was a disappointing experience, especially as they're not much cheaper than other airlines flying the same route. The airline is mediocre at best.I know a lot of people say Jet is good but I have flown them a couple of times on international flights and found them to be mediocre. Cabin crew are not very much interested in what they are doing. They don't care even to smile. Hot towels which are given before takeoff are snatched back rudely from the passengers. terrible flight! drinks were served before the first meal, then no more distributed for the next 5 and a half hours. Coffee/tea was served once in 9 hour flight. seat belt sign made it next to impossible to fetch your own drink, and even when I did manage to go and ask for a coffee, I was given a half filled cup of water with nescafe, no milk of sugar, hen the attendant turned and walked away Meals were disgusting and suprisingly small in size. “My LED TV was cracked”

I paid $200 extra baggage to get my LED TV but when I opened it at home it was cracked. There was just a one inch hole at the top of TV box so never thought of such a huge damage. They are denying for any help and I am feeling very cheated here... Be very careful with their baggage clearance and check all your baggage thoroughly at the airport esp. electronic stuff. Hi I had travelled from London UK to Delhi, India on 11th December 2012. At Delhi airport my baggage was missing. I had filed the complain at the Airport. Jet Airways wrote me accept compensation on 17 January 2013. Since I was busy in Toronto, I could not accept the compensation. Airport staff on Mumbai is very arrogant and rude. This is money making airlines from customers . The web check in doesn't work and self check in for few tickets you can't do and the check in staff is very slow . “Money making airline only”

This airline is horrible and the opposite of trustworthy. Just another money making company made to make money, and to do anything for their customers. The service that was given was absolutely horrendous. They had no manner and tried to scam my entire family out of being mad. We traveled for over 45 hours and slept in Dubai airport. I agree with this. It just knows how to make money by cheating people. When you call them, they will keep you on hold for minimum 30 minutes and for each minute, you have to may one rs. At the end also, you won't know if you are going to get connected or not. Worst service ever seen.

Before you jump to conclusion let me assure that this is not a review based upon one experience nor it's because I am angry at the moment. I traveled from Bahrain to bhubaneswar via mumbai. I flew Jet from LHR - Delhi. No problems whatsoever on the way, nice food, good IFE, relatively comfy seats though I fidget loads. On the return leg, we were delayed in Lucknow getting to Delhi for the connection home due to fog so were directed to an almost underground office to speak to customer services. If you want to have your humanity completely stripped from you in the course of one journey, you don't even have to board the Jet Airways plane, just try to negotiate their customer service and website and it will be enough. Had to fight my way on ot Kinghfisher flight after four hours in queues and endless argument with nasty, unhelpful staff. My mom 78 years old was travelling from Jeddah to Mumbai. When the official saw that she was on wheelchair and alone, he demanded that I should provide a medical certificate. Their standard is going down. These people just don't case, same goes for other as well. Welcomed to the corporate world of customer no service. Just give us your money. They don't treat people as individual but add how much they can get out of you. I wonder why they get better treatment just because you are a corporate company. Theses couples must travel economy just to experienced what itlike. If I was running a airline, I would seed to theed comfort of economy passengers sec week add theed business. We were 30 minutes into the flight when the decompression failed and we returned to Heathrow. This was handled very well but from the point of landing it turned into a farce. We were kept on the plane for three hours. We were booked into a hotel but then we had no direct correspondance from the Airline until the next evening. We sat on the flight for 10 hours and they made so many stupid reasons and ultimately they said the flight is cancelled. There was nobody in the arrival to answer the passengers. Ultimately senior British police team had to be called to handle the situation. 2 Bags were delayed into Toronto and there was no proper follow up from 9W. Finally when it came in there was no compensation as well, reason stated by the Jet Airways Staff is, since all bags were not lost, no compensation.

Anyways the journey was comfortable. Brussels Airport is not the most convenient Airport for the Transit. I can't complain assuming that BRU is offering a lot of facilities to 9W.

Would I travel again on Jet Airways? The answer is yes, most certainly. (read more)

My experience with Jet has been terrible. The customer service i would say is the worse here. Right from the Ground staff you get ready for Disaster. They were so rude especially the ones on Toronto Airport. In flight service is terrible. They do not serve you anything until you starve to death!! Recently on 3rd August i have travelled with Jet airways from London to Hyderabad. i would say the service in the flight was good where me and my 2 1/2 years old daughter have enjoyed the flight service. Worst came, when i rang Customer care to change my ticket from hyderabad to London. Intially my flight was on 19th August which chnaged it to 29th August. When i rang them they were not at all helpful in the service and very rude and abrupt.

“Avoid Jet if you live outside of India as their...”

Avoid Jet if you live outside of India as their customer service will try to fleece you for every single dollar. We bought USA-India and Indian domestic ticket from them. Then we tried to change a one way DEL-Calcutta ticket. Their customer service claimed that it will cost us US$120 fare difference (per person) plus a penalty.
