    MORE THAN car insurance from ROYAL AND SUN ALLIANCE!!!!. Their so-called Comprehensive Cover is expensive. I was involved in an accident and the third party admitted 100% liability. According to More Than my car was a "total loss" -- even though the damage was comparatively minor. The amount they offered me was laughable and no way matched the cost of having to replace or repair my car which had low mileage and was in good condition. As well as this, their level of service is extremely incompetent with the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. They use some call centre people who are totally clueless. For example they do not know where Southampton is in relation to London. More Than from Royal and Sun Alliance are More Than I can take !!

    After a nightmare with the online broker I used last year (not the insurer) I shopped around for a good policy that combined cost and benefits. I don't automatically go for the lowest quote as that often misses out key benefits such as protected no claims and/or a higher excess. The Royal and Sun Alliance brand www.morethan.com proved to be an excellent experience and very professional.
