    Good Points: Very agreeable dining room with good food.
    Pleasant garden with pool.
    5 - 10 minute walk from beach.
    Games room for the kids.


    Bad Points: The entertainment hall was filled with cigarette smoke, even in the day time - watch out asthmatics.
    We could hear the music at night in our room. Having four children among our group, this was unfortunate - for us!
    The life guard (based on my own observations) only appeared on the last day by the pool, which isn't good enough considering the depth of the pool.


    General comments: The Regina Gran Hotel in Salou was pleasant, and the food was good, but not excellent. A male on reception duty was a bit grumpy. We also had to wait on our room for a while, as did many others on arrival, which was day time.
    The room was allocated for 2 adults and 2 children. However, when the beds were out there was no space in the room. One bed was a fold down seat which wouldn't fold down and the child almost folded up into it. The balcony door lock was broken, so there was no security onto the balcony, and the room could have been easily accessed. The cleaning was mediocre.

    I would recommend the Regina Gran on a value for money basis, the pleasant dining room and good food, plus the pleasant garden area.
