I chose to buy the Jane slalom pro with the matrix cup following LOTS of review reading and generally looking around at prams. The best feature for me was the multi function of the matrix cup which allowed baby to lie out flat when new born and gradually going into sit up position as he got bigger. Although he still lays flat when in the car, as he always falls asleep!
He is 3 months and will be out of it in a month or so, so it doesn't last a great deal of time but the time he has been in it was worth it.

The only down side is that the pushchair element only faces outwards (when you move on from the matrix) whilst other prams can swivel and the matrix is quite heavy. Otherwise everything else is great and highly recommended. Get lots of comments on it.

The slalom pro is a dream to push, for the early months of my childs life we used it with car seat, this was so easy to connect on and go shopping or walking. The large bicycle type wheels make it so easy to use and the front swivel wheel makes it realy easy to steer round shops, tight spaces or literally turn around. The pushchair has a large seat, plenty of room for baby and reclining seat which keeps the posture right. We had the footmuff which gave us a liner throught the winter with flee ...

loved the big seat on the Jane Slalom Pro, baby look protected and comfy. the disc brake helps on rougher ground and parks because you can slow down and helps control the front swvile wheel.
love the style specially because even the hubby love to push it as it look his car!

I love my Jane Slalom Pro, I have had many many prams with my 3 children and this out shines the lot by miles!! I used it from birth with the pro matrix reclined fully and placed a thin matteress in it to increase my son's comfort, then in the various recline positions until 18 months. I would however say how useless I feel the pro matrix is as a car seat, it's far to upright and tips forwards far to easily, it is also a nightmare to put in the car with the seatbelt. The pro rebel is a much ...

I've experienced terrible problems with front wheel, have had to disconnect the front brake as a result but this still hasn't resolved the issue. Am due to take it back for repair again.
The shopping basket is also tiny for the size of the buggy.
My daughter never seems to be sat properly and always seems to be off one one side, I have to keep straightening her up so that she's not scrunched up.

I was generally happy with this pram in the first few months but as my daughter has got bigger and ...

As we would be living just over an hour away from our families when we had our first baby we opted for this pushchair because the travel system included the lie flat car seat.
This Matrix seat was a god send when traveling and having to visit a multitude of relatives. Baby always slept well. However, as my baby was a 9lber when born he grew out of the car seat at 4 months, not the recommended 6. Also whenever we put it in the upright position it looked so uncomfortable. In addition it is an ab ...

I does what it says on the tin! Lightweight, a true off roader, air tyres are very comfortable, can add a carrycot, Matrix or a Rebel infant carrier.
Disc brake is so cool and very useful down hills.
I have used this for my 2 kids and it stills looks like new.

Yes it is expensive, but if you shop about you can get better prices. If you are out-doorsy and want a decent 3 wheeler that will easily stay solid for 2 children hwne you're using it twice a day to walk the dog in woods and on rough ground, this is the one for you.

The only good thing about the Jane Slalom Pro pushchair was that it was nice to wheel when the wheels didn't lock out. Button to release the wheel broke, all the popper buttons broke, terrible seating position - gave child bad posture. The lie flat car seat was difficult to put in, and was very heavy for my wife. When not used in lie flat, was far too upright - baby's head lolling about in it. Shopping basket too small for much stuff, and kept detaching itself when you had one bag in it. Very bu ...

I loved the Jane Slalom Pro pushchair and it's been excellent from the carry cot right the way through to the pushchair (despite it's bad points). The baby is really comfortable and well padded inside the pushchair, my daughter often sleeps in it whilst we're out shopping and it's easy to recline (almost flat) so she can have a good sleep.
I've found now shes a bit bigger (15mths) she can't sit totally forward and have a good look around, so my next buy will be a buggy.

The Jane Slalom Pro pushchair is excellent! I had the auto carrycot so my baby could lie flat from birth, the rebel pro car seat to slot on and off when out and about in the car; then from 5 months, I put the pushchair part on, and I could still slot the car seat on and off. It is really easy to use, and worth the money. I wished I hadn't bothered with the rain covers though, as the fabric itself is fairly waterproof.
