Bought toys for my girls on 5/12/12 on standard delivery for 3-5 working days delivery. Plenty of time for christmas you would think. After phoning yesterday I was told they didn't know where my order was and was put on hold twice so the customer service person woud check with various managers. Awful service received from The The Entertainer! Be very weary about using their on-line service as I placed an order last week and they took twice the amount from my account! Only when I checked did I notice this and I have no doubt they would not have infomed me.. I just called them to rectify it and now have to wait 3-5 days for a refund! I have used this website a few times now. My son wanted a lightsaber which glowed and made noises, in Argos nad most other places £40, on their website £25. I also found some Dr Who stuff I knew he would like. I found the same things sold by the same company but on Amazon for the same price but post and package was more expensive. This place has had a few bad reviews i have seen. I think this is totaly unfair. I ordered my item which were very cheap compaired to every where else. They turned up very fast, well packed. Will be dealing with them again for the rest of the kids birthdays. Plus they have voucher code that work! (read more)

My 7-year old son has been asking for this toy for ages, so I promised to get it for him for Christmas. Took 2 lots of £104 from my account phoned them they said i had to talk to bank, phoned bank they said it was upto them, did this 6 times. Absolutely shocking customer service for a major retailer. They do not care about you or your order. The buying process itself is very easy with an excellent range of presents at competetive prices. However, once they have your money they switch off as they have what they want.

Like previous reviewers - I placed my order on 07 Dec and have syill (20 Dec) not received it. I have phoned the customer service centre on several occasions and they say they don't know who the courier is!!!!! I have asked for a parcel ref to be told they don't know that either. absolute nightmare - will let you place your order but leave it 2 weeks before they inform you it is out of stock and cancel your order - call centre not aware whats going on in front of them - tell you order is fine, sat in the warehouse even after the cancellation email has come. ordered items for guaranteed xmas delivery received the badge maker on xmas eve with a small slip of paper advising they couldn't supply fluffy go walkies and that I hadn't been charged. Ordered an item via amazon from The Entertainer for my daughters birthday. Was told delivery by 4th Jan. Not recieved so sent an e-mail and got automated response back. Next day e-mail from amazon saying seller had cancelled my order but no reason why!!

BEWARE!! Shoddy company, rubbish service, take your money and DON'T DELIVER
I ordered two items from The Entertainer (via their Amazon shop) on the 6th December. As of the 21st December they have not arrived.
They have charged my credit card - but I have my doubts as to whether the items have actually been despatched at all.

I ordered a xmas present from The Entertainer for my 6 year old on Dec 10th
was promised delivery by 18th at latest. it is the 19th and I have still not received it and we are going away tomorrow so he will have no xmas present.
When I phoned them to chase and see if it had been delivered to neighbours already they couldnt give me a tracking number. The rep kept saying things like 'unfortunately we don't get tracing numbers with royal mail'. I feel that this is not unfortunate it is incompetent. (read more)

Ordered a Biscuit real fur dog on November 29th - guaranteed delivery by Dec 8th at the latest. Heard nothing by Dec 13th, had to ring 3 times to be told 'need to refer this to head office', 'its in the delivery cycle' and associated apparent excuses.
They have called today (17th) to be told that its gone missing and they'll refund me.
Doesn't really help the week before Xmas.
