Good Points: - Tom Green = Legend
- Nuf Sed!
Bad Points: - Comedy style isn't for everyone
General comments: OK, Freddy got fingered. It's not what it says on the tin. If you have bought this film expecting some strange fetish porn film then you are in for a bit of a disappointment. If, however, you are interested in this film because you want a surreal gross-out movie with a difference then you're in luck. For those of you who are familiar with Tom Green's strange sense of humour then you will know what to expect from his own feature film. For those of you who only know him from the Salmon song in Road Trip, well, you should still have some idea. For those of you who have no idea who this Tom Green bloke is, you may be in for a shock.
The film follows Gord (Tom G.), a 28 year old who lives with his parents and whose dream is to become an animator. It follows him on his journey chasing his dream, and trying to win the respect of his deranged father who is ashamed of his loser son. It is all typical Tom Green, no limits, over the top comedy. I don't want to give any of it away so I will try and keep this short.
If you are looking for a surreal but enjoyable laugh with a bit of comic emotion and a surprisingly sturdy plot then this film is for you. If you want something more traditional, don't go for Tom.
Hope you enjoy.
