When I bought this Hatsan model 70 I thought it was very heavy, but it's not, the trigger is a bit hard to pull, and the first 10 shots if affected my shot, but both the trigger pulling and the other difficulities were just tecnique. I love it's power and it's VERY accurate!!

It's a very cheap and good gun!

I bought this Hatsan model 70 rifle bcuz of its power, and the fact that it wasnt expensive at all. I got shocked, wen i fired a bullet from 10m away into my wood fence, wich is about 1cm tick, and it went through, with no problem bcuz i could hear it bounce into the rocks behinde and fly into a houses roof on the other side of the road..

Although I am not pleased with the amount of plastic on this rifleI have to admit it is very accurate at 20 yards making an egg shape hole.It makes a harsh snap when fired, making it quite loud seeing the stock acts as a amplifier. My Hatsan is a model 70 magic wood in .177,I feed it RWS Meisterkugeln professional line 8.2 grains and it loves them with outstanding results (all from a benched position). As for the trigger a walk to the local Canadian tire solved this problem with a 4/40 3/4 inch ...

Iv just brought one and am shooting rabits from 30m without a scope straight out of the box. No problem with power but the weight takes its toll after a while having to carry it for kilometers on end. im vewry impressed with its out of the box peformance and its hard to go past in terms of value for money

A great gun. Very powerful and can easily take down possums, rabbits and magpies at about 25m. The only major problem I had was the trigger, it was so hard to pull it hurt your finger but this problem was easily sorted out by a local gunsmith. I would recommend this gun for hunting, plinking and target shooting.

Very cheap (~$100) but accurate and handy. Also known as Winchester 1000 (in this case multiply price by two).
Very powerful for .177 caliber - it can pierce 1 inch board at 30 yards easily - but recoil is moderate. Very loud! I filled the stock (originally it is empty) with an epoxy to make it more quiet and for better balance.
Made in Turkey. Quality is good (I disassembled and assembled it once) but it is very hard (almost impossible) to assemble it without somebody's help. It is hard to co ...
