Full facility Visa Debit card.

Halifax now include the Contactless facility on cards, as far as I am aware they are the only UK bank to offer this on debit cards.

But the main bonus over this is the account that it comes with - they'll pay you £5 every single month that you have it! (read more)

I recently received and no cheque garantee card from the Halifax. I know we are trying to get rid of cheque books but still many retailers ask cheque garantee card. (read more)

I have a Halifax moneyback current account, which gives me moneyback on my Debit Card purchases. They give me a rate of 1% on the first £10,000 I spend on the Debit Card, which is better than what most Debit Cards offer. Most Debit Cards are just there so that people don't have to carry cash, so the Halifax Debit Card offers a great service with their moneyback debit card.

I would recommend it, and I have never had a single problem with the Halifax. (read more)
