You get what you pay for. Hotpoint washing machines are useless. I have had this machine for 3 years and have had to call out an engineer about 4 times, now I don't even bother!
Virtually every wash the machine fails to spin and I have to turn off the power for about 2 hours and then run through the cycle again. An engineer said this is because of too many clothes in the drum but it's only half full!! Also drum cracked after two years..engineer said it was down to wear and tear!?!?
