    We went to Matrlin Lodge for our honeymoon in 2006. The resort was damaged by a cyclone the following year but I shouldn't think things have changed too much. It was a gorgeous place to stay, very relaxing and staff were very helpful and accommodating.
    The only thing I would say is that we stayed 2 long - 2 weeks and we were the longest staying guests! Most people go for 4 days before or after a safari. Looking back I would have been happy with a week - there is very little to do other than relax, swim and sunbathe in the resort which can get a bit boring! If you do do the drive through the centre of the island make sure you take pens or sweets for the children. We didn't know and felt awful when they were calling out to us.

    Amazing holiday. The best you will ever experience! Marlin lodge is amazing! the best holiday ever!! It can be really relaxing or get up and go on the boats. The rooms are amazing and give you a really good experience of the island. Its like nothing you have ever seen before. The holiday perfectly suits couples but I had a brilliant time when I went with my family. The food is excellent its exotic and you never would of had it anywhere else. It is really healthy too and gives you a lot of energy ...
