Good Points: Well I've never had many problems with my little beauty, she got upgraded tyres which I'd recommend as she's a feisty devil and will top 100mph in good conditions... but i will admit this is down a hill (but what do you expect from a 14 year old 125cc motorbike!?). I've found she only needs minimal maintenance and as long as you don't blitz her at 12,000 rpm absolutely everywhere you she won't need anything but the regular brake pads and drive chain changed. I think she's got a good fuel consumption, i usually get around 130 miles per tank (well about 10-11 litres as she's only got a side side and i can't fill her to the top) but that does include sitting at traffic lights

Bad Points: She's a two-stoke so will drink oil and will smoke, also if like me you use it on a daily basis for short journeys she'll get quite smoky (the cheaper the oil the worse it is!) but this is rectifiable with a stint of at least 60 mins on an A road to burn out the exhaust system, (I do this about once a month), also only being a 125cc she lacks power at the bottom end, and in 6th gear will quite often get stuck at 7,000 rpm due to lack of power, so I ignore 6th and stay in 5th usually. Also she doesn't like the cold (I know cause I'm that annoying persistent biker that rides in all weathers as its my only form of transport!) so when it's below freezing she'll hate you, you'll have to keep her on choke for about 5 minutes and if you let her drop below 2,000 rpm when she's still cold she just turn off (lots of fun at traffic lights!).

General comments: Well I would recommend the Suzuki RG125 Gamma to any learner or anyone returning to riding, she's feisty and for a new rider will scare you senseless the first time you go on an A road. She handles well, takes quite a lot of punishing, doesn't need much maintenance and is exceptionally reliable. Although after having her for 18 months I want something with more power, as I'm bored of being left behind as my partners got a 1000cc, but it definitely a great little bike (I'm 5'7" and pretty wimpy in the muscle department and I can move the thing with ease).
