I shopped this site several times. Some of my experience has been okay, but most have not. I recommend that anyone who shops this site pay very close attention to shipping cost for any item you look at. There is no uniformity between shipping cost for same type, same weight items. I will never shop this site in the future as shipping prices are exorbitant. Better off for sure buying something new from Walmart- the cost is close to even and often less expensive!

I used to love shopping with Shop Goodwill until this last time they want to charge me $50 to ship a chain necklace to Canada. I used to live in San Diego and used to mail wedding gowns and all sorts of stuff to Canada and at most it cost me $25 for a full wedding gown. However a tiny little necklace and they want $50, I dont think so and the vague email answers they give me just dont make me trust them. Sorry Goodwill but its EBAY for me.

I have been bidding on ShopGoodwill auctions for about a year. At first their shipping and handling was reasonable. Now it is really bad, they are charging 5% on an item no matter what its size. What it boils down to is that a person buying a $500.00 item is paying the handling on item that were sold for $5 or $10. I think they have forgotten their mission regarding the public and also have forgotten that the merchandise they sell has been donated to them.

I don ' t know how they stay in business. I ' d don ' t think they over charge people, I think the y deliberately overcharge people. When I questioned them about their outrageous shipping, they give me some cock ' n bull story about how they need the money because their ' mission 'is to help those less fortunate. Give me a break! You don ' t ' help 'one group of people by ripping of another. I ' ve bought stuff from them before but unless they have a major change of attitude, I doubt I will e ...

I have "won" several camera related auctions at shopgoodwill. Each Goodwill store lists their own items and the quality of listings varies. Photos of items usually leave a lot to be desired. If you are lucky, they will show a photo of the front of the lens. If you are really lucky, that photo will be in focus. Out of the several auctions "won" I've been happy with one. I've won a Yashica rangefinder that looks beautiful, but only works intermittently. I've won a set of three Konica lenses, all ...

I would not recommend buying from www.shopgoodwill.com since they overcharge on their shipping and handling rates. I use to be a consistant buyer in the beginning when they first opened up online, but now I will not buy from them due to this. I feel that they should be reported for inflated shipping charges.

Auction ended Sept 23, my check cleared Oct 1, as of Oct 17 I have not yet received the item, sent 3 emails and as far as I am aware I have not yet had one reply. This is my second and last time to buy at the goodwill online auction. I do not recommend Shopgoodwill.com, I think I am going to be out 44 dollars.

I enjoy looking, especially at the art. But what they charge for shipping is ridiculous. And on top of that they have a "handling" charge which is 5% of the selling price. In other words, their listing fee is paid by the buyer! I think that is unethical and I doubt would fly on any other auction site. I just won't buy from them

They have lots of items and pretty decent pictures and views of the items. Unless the item is something I can't find somewhere else, I do not recommend Shop Goodwill due to my experience... Shipping and handling charges are way too high for me... I know it is bad when shipping is more than the item. They wanted more than $8 to ship a RING! Too expensive for me therefore I do not recommend this online auction site.

Purchased a digital camera list as "good condition" . That would mean to me it works however it did not work and should have been described as such.

Shopgoodwill is an online thrift store, auction style, that markets goods donated to charity from around the U.S. They have a little of everything available, and lots of nice things. They're pretty good to do business with, and the information they provide about items up for auction is usually pretty true, not exaggerated. Buyers have the pleasure of knowing that sales revenue is put toward social good. It can be difficult to work out problems, when they arise, with sales transaction. Respo ...
