Where do I start, I've stayed here since Jan 13, 4 nights a week and in all that time the thing that keeps me sane is the help, generosity and general well being of ALL the staff, names that jump to mind are Jane,Rita,Lisa,Georgina and in the Beefeater Christeen and Susan and at night Claire. The rooms are always tip top clean, if you need anything all you have to do is ask and if the lasses can get it for you they will and always with a smile, even though some days you can tell they're a... On arrival at the Premier Inn, I realised that the hotel was close to a busy road and could be noisy. As I am a light sleeper I asked if we could have a room at the back. We had been allocated a room at the front as I had booked a twin room and the rooms at the back appeared to be double rooms. The receptionist was really helpful and arranged for the beds to be moved around so we could have a room at the back. All the staff were really helpful and the room was quite, clean and the shower... Due to travel across country, heavy snow forecast so before setting out we ring Ebbw Vale Premier Inn to ask how the weather was. 'Terrible, even housekeeping staff can't get in. Myself and my partner have stayed at several different Premier Inn's and we have never had a bad stay at any. The rooms have always been immaculately clean and the staff/service has always been top notch. Our most favourite stay was at the Heathrow Premier Inn. The atrium containing the check-in, bar, restaurant and Costa Coffee shop is just amazing. From the back, you can also watch the planes coming in to land. The food was very good and the whole place had a very good ambiance to it.... (read more)

I have never stayed in Premier Inn, but I worked there for a short period of time and I was shocked by the level of hygiene and culture of the staff there. Even the supervisors were not organised and motivated to work properly. With the customer service everything was ok, also rooms looked clean and tidy, however……the hotel was not so clean how it looked. Stayed in Premier Inn a couple of times now. It's quite nice, actually. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have, so far, been very quiet. I have always had a decent nights sleep. The same happened to me at Grantham last night - by a very rude member of staff. To add to my ire, I had rung the customer service number last Thursday and mentioned I'd be paying by cash so wanted to check the card used to reserve the booking - my father made the booking - would not be charged. Nobody told me I needed ID. We had to come home and they've charged my fathers card.
