Good Points: Car overall was ok with plenty of standard kit. I opted for full leather dakota black and bamboo wood and added the DAB radio which was good. The new engine had plenty of pace with 177 bhp and the new auto gear box. The new engine had good economy figures.
Bad Points: With the black leather and bamboo wood the cabin felt very dark and gloomy. Had a persistent rattle from the dash board area which BMW sorted out, a loose gromit but this returned within 2 weeks. The face lifted version looks almost identical to the pre facelifted version from the exterior.
General comments: Didnt feel that I had purchased a vehicle that was executive car of the year 2003 -2007 when I bought my BMW 520d M Sport. I was disappointed overall with the experience with my first BMW and it will be my last. Dealer I purchased my vehicle from I certainly would not recommend. Its the biggest purchase of a vehicle I have made.
