Good Points: City button steering is a parking dream
Skydome roof is easy and practical
So easy to park in tight multi stories

Bad Points: Engine could be greatly improved for CO2 emissions round town.

General comments: Good ride height given good visibility, so easy to get in and out.. You don`t need an electric car to reduce emissions, just keep off the throttle. If someone gave you an electric car that did 30mph round town and told you it was zero emissions they would be lying, but this car can achieve 45mpg round town and up to 85mpg on a run if the ECO tyre pressures are kept to 40psi. Their max is 45psi so 40 is OK. The wind pressure on the car round town is only about 16 lbs total but at 70 its 286 lbs and the fuel consumption must suffer so if you must have a 70mph vehicle, buy a car with a better coefficient of drag. However, for economy this is a great car. Even some Japanese hybrid vehicles can achieve the mpg this one does.
It could be improved further by reducing the number of cylinder to three and having an offset crank to further reduce piston friction, and in this department the maker is not doing enough to claim city car status. However, overall it is a very good city car which is what you would expect from a maker who excels in small cars.

The Panda is not a technological tour de force, nor does it set any new benchmarks in the city car sector, but it's (almost) everything you'd hope it would be, and is in the spirit of earlier, much-loved small Fiats.
