I liked cooking with previous Cannon so thought I would buy another one to replace it.

Cannon Chesterfield double oven. (This was my decision as i had to replace old Cannon which had served well). Main oven top had a flaking problem but didnt notice till 13 months. Got a replacement (not for nothing) and 6 months later see the same thing happening. 3 months later and hubby tells me to buy another brand.

My real beef with the Cannon Chester 10548G is the oven thermostat lasted three weeks, replaced on guarantee and now gone again after eighteen months low use. A quick look at suppliers show the item to be 112 pounds for the part and that is without the labour. Don't touch this oven with a bargepole and if you are like me don't buy Cannon. This one's for the tip.

The Cannon Chester 10548G is a decent cooker. I got mine just over half a year ago and to start of with the good points, the stylish look and the ease of use are what I would consider the good points. Unfortunately they do not weigh up against the durability and support issues I encountered. The Glass Hob cover broke and Cannon wanted £170 for a replacement, yes, you read that right: £170!
