Absolutely brilliant phone. Mono screen (easy to see in all light), mono ringtones (louder than poly and nowadays everyone elese has poly so you will always know instantly it's your phone ringing), battery life modern phones could only dream of, great keypad (no awful four-way navi key, so much easier to use), fast menu navigation (no freezing or crashes)... It really is FAR better than current phones, but hey, if you kiddies like your gimmicks then that's what you'll get...

I have been using the Nokia 1100 for 6 months and it fits my needs very well. I am not a fun guy, so I am fond of simple and easy to use phones. It has a bulb light at the end that I find more useful than all the 1.5mb phone cameras in the world. When I wanted to buy a mobile phone a friend of mine recommended it, and I am still satisfied with the choice I made.

The reception on the Nokia 1100 gets bad 1.5 years, often you will be cut off in the middle of conversation even if your located in good reception cover area and full battery.

I have been using this phone since 2004. Its a perfect phone for basic users with high affordability. In Pakistan its price is around $55 to $60. Although it looks like an old phone because of its monochrome display and monophonic ring tones. But I am loyal to it because it is highly durable with lowest power consumption as I charge my phone thrice a week.
A feature which I like most in this phone is an inbuilt electric torch (Flashlight) on its head. Its a small LED type bright white light. Th ...

I had my first Nokia 1100 stolen but didn't hesitate to replace with the same. The phone is a good 'no frills' phone which is very user friendly. Battery life is good together with signal strength throughout my area. We have two of these phones in our household. We have a good quality camera if we want photography but don't need it from a phone.
Excellent value, ours both cost less than £20 from Amazon.

This review is for a Nokia 1100.
    The Good points:

My family has had Nokia's for years and I feel the Nokia range of phones have the best, the most easy to use and most simple mobile phone menu systems. This simple model is no different. I purchased this phone for my wife over a year ago and we have been very impressed with it.

We looked at lots of other mobile phones before buying this one but most of the other makes seem to have poor menu systems. Some also have too many so-called feat ...

The Nokia 1100 is a very simple little phone and is the best I have had for simply making/receiving calls and sending/receiving texts. I recently bought another phone thinking it about time I upgraded, a much more expensive phone that has a camera and all the rest of the frills and trimmings most people seem to yearn for these days. The battery does not last as long, it is more bulky, can't see the screen in sunlight, it has crashed a few times so I am now back to using this simple little Nokia ...

The Nokia 1100 is a great phone. The pre-paid aspect eliminates all hassles because you will never receive a bill. The phone is simple to use and I would recommend it for light to moderate use.

If you want a mobile phone to make and receive calls, then the Nokia 1100 is it.

It's all you need in a phone, plus a handy torch. Let's face it, if you want to take pictures, use a camera.

I have had the Nokia 1100 mobile phone for just over a year, and I can honestly say it's been the best phone I have ever had, and I don't like Nokia's. I like mobile phones, and I have a very large collection at home. I have a Sony Ericsson GA628, GF768, T10, T18, T28, T66, T68, Sony J5, Sony Ericsson T68i, T610i, K700, Samsung A300, Nokia 3210, 3310, 8210 and loads more (70+ in total, including Panasonic, Tel-ital etc. This phone is easily the best. I don't want to change it. I'm in my early 20 ...

Well what can I say. I have had so much luck with the Nokia 1100. I purchased it for LM30 and after 5 mths of buying it I had a 'mysterious' problem where it turned off and would not turn back on. I took it back and they didn't know what was wrong so they gave me another... that was fine UNTIL 2 months later the ringer stopped working... I took it back (2nd time!!) and they fixed it costing me an extra LM10!!!
Now after another 1 month of fixing the ringer it stopped working again!!!! So now i ...

I owned the Nokia 1100 mobile phone more than 2 years ago. A very good phone indeed in those times.

Screen quality and backlights were improved, and much better than 33XX and 52XX series phones.

The phone's strongest point is battery life.
I'm wondering where it gets its power that lasts for a week. Though it warns you "low battery" warning, still you could send ample number of text messages before it totally shuts down. Recharging the battery takes only an hour to full.

    The features w ...

The Nokia 1100 mobile phone is easy to use, practical, it has a flashlight, and it has the longest battery life of any mobile on the market.

I miss my old Nokia 5100 though, because the 1100 doesn't have the dictionary for speed texting in Dutch.

Apart from that, you can't go wrong!

The Nokia 1100 is the worst mobile phone I have ever had, and I have mainly used Nokia's. I have half a dozen chargers, which is why I buy them. But no longer. This phone is rubbish!!

I've had my Nokia 1100 mobile phone for a year and quarter now, and I have had no problems really, but it does seem to off and on by itself at times. Used to be more often when I first used it, but now seems very seldom. But overall, had no problem. Face plates are cheap so you can change anytime. Everything else is as described in the specification, and are in perfect condition (especially the cute flashlight).

My Nokia 1100 mobile phone rocks! The battery life is incredible (can run for over a week with average use). It looks great, is lightweight, and has a straightforward and easy to use Nokia menu system. Menu access is quick, and I have had no problems with the reception. The ring tones are loud and clear, and it also has a built in ring tone composer. The built in torch is very handy, and the silicone keypad is great if you are a heavy texter. This is NOT a feature rich phone, but if you wa ...

I like the sms text messages because you can type more- 459 characters. The battery is very good, I charged mine on Sunday night, the battery still shows battery full on Friday and that is amazing long. The ringtones are clear and loud plus the alarm sounds sharp which is good to wake me up. I love the Nokia 1100.

The Nokia 1100 is a really simple, compact and cheap phone - mine was £29.99 with £5 worth of calls via Virgin. I was surprised that the car charger was £17 but when I bought another accessory from a 3rd party (a USB charger) found that it was incompatible - so probably worth buying the branded items. I switched from a Trium Mars and the one thing I miss is the ability to boost the earphone to a loudspeaker for in-car use. I still retain a Vodafone Sim as, whilst Virgin cheaper ...
