    Good Points: they can find a telephone number quickly.


    Bad Points: The cost of putting the call through is extortionate.
    The customer is not advised that connecting the call is much more expensive than taking the number and re-dialling.
    The number you were connected to is not listed.
    The procedure to query a charge on one's bill seems to pay lip service only as it fails to answer the question asked but repeats information readily available from one's bill.
    Today I have been told that 118500 is not a BT service.


    General comments: Shocked at the £48.00 bill for three calls to 118500, I asked BT to tell me which three numbers their service had connected to.
    After several email responses in which the operative simply repeated call price structures and other information available in my bill, I finally received a call from BT today. I am informed that 118500 is not a BT service but BT will speak to an 'outsource' team to try and get the numbers. the operative suggested I call 118500 again to explain my request.

    BT 118 500 has most knowledgeable advisors and quick service.

    Good no frills service, think other services like 118118 have their fingers in too many pies! Just after a number then i would recommend BT everytime.

    Call to BT 118 500 lasted 52sec and cost £1.19 on a vodafone mobile. That's expensive don't you think?

    This is the service originally offered under 192 by BT. Works well most of the time.
