Have had Cannon cookers for years without problems. This Chesterfield pools under the front of the cooker Told its my fault either atomospherics or the way I clean it. I hadn't cleaned it and it's in exactly the same position as other cookers I have had
Then told it needed a condenser. Then told there wasn't one available. Then told it would be replaced Then told it wouldnt be Then the engineer arrived to replace the glass door whilst telling me that he had told them it wouldnt make any differe ...- Read Guest's review (93 words)

I've got the Chesterfield C80GCS. I've had an engineer out numerous times to two cookers (my first one was replaced as the fault couldn't be rectified) - the problem is the top oven which doesn't light properly, if at all. This problem was on both cookers. My neighbour bought the same cooker recently and is having exactly the same problems as I've had.- Read NelB's review (110 words)

I choose Cannon as my mum had one many years. When I first got my Chesterfield (C60GS), the temp gage on bottom cooker did not work properly. This was replaced. It cooks well in both top/bottom oven. Only complaint on hob that the dials does not match temp gage. Also, hob hard to clean and return to normal look when bought. Where can you get the cleaning product for this hob? anyone knows?- Read Guest's review (105 words)

The Cannon Chesterfield is the worst gas cooker I have ever used. Food cooks uneven, Light in oven does not work unless oven is turned on and then it stays on all the time, makes cleaning difficult because you can not see what you are doing. Will be going back to New World when this one breaks (which will not be too far away I'm sure). Would not recommend to anyone.- Read Guest's review (92 words)

Chose a Cannon 6 months ago as I no longer could get a New World Plan 6 gas cooker (had one for 18 years and cooked like a dream). Parts not available either so nearest I could find was the Chesterfield. Ovens do condensate and cooks better when both ovens on. The overall look is good but on closer inspection find that the quality that you expect from Cannon is not there.- Read Heidi 1's review (203 words and 1 comment)

Look around before buying.
There are better quality cookers available at a more reasonable price.
Cannon seem to have forgotten how to make a good quality product. The burrs have not even been taken off the pan supports before enameling. The heat control of the hob burners is very very poor, the heat settings do not relate to the dial markings, the burners are full on when the dial indicates half on - this could be dangerous as you cannot see the flame when it is covered by a pan.- Read Michael T's review (119 words)
