    I brought this gun from sandwell field sports (very helpfull people and you get a cup of tea )with a hawke eclipse sight bag pellets targets for about £150 what a bargin new to this but ive baged 3 squirells a wood piegon in 2 weeks and ive joined a shootin range im hooked accurate, powerful, through soup cans both sides from 20 meters .savin for a pcp. this gun has me hooked brilliant

    I bought a SMK 19 because it was a full power, but affordable rifle on which I could get myself back in the habit of shooting. I had not picked up a rifle in five years and (never being a perfect marksman in the first place) knew I would be very rusty. For this reason I did not buy a scope, wishing instead to learn the rifles idiosyncrasies and train my eyes and hands back into the sport.
    The SMK is a sound gun for this purpose. Experienced air gun enthusiasts might deem it a "no frills" rifle, ...

    Great peice of kit for both an experienced or beginner shooter. Great price at around £100 for the rifle. good accuracy when fitted with a good scope.

    This is my 3rd air rifle first shot and had a rabbit when i could never hit even a sitting bird from 5 foot away with my old rifles this was from about 15 to 20 feet away such a brilliant air rifle to learn with would recomend this air rifle to any one that new to the sport

    Great Value and superb power for the money.

    I was staggered at how good this rifle was for the money.

    I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone considering purchasing an air gun.

    Bought SMK 19 for £190 with scope bag targets pellets etc found the gun once the scope to be aeroed its very accurate and is powerful enough to kill most small animals top gun

    My SMK 19 is brilliant for the price,good hitting power,a good set of scopes is a must ,and if zeroed in properly it makes this air rifle a good all round package,,easily takes out rabbits at 40yds,some pellets work better than others in this gun,nice beech stock,and quite nice looking,good safety trigger,a silencer is a good investment ,not the lightest or heaviest,but good to hold,one of my friends had one and i took a liking to it straight away,keep it clean and you have a nice gun

    had my SMK 19 .22 for a year now and the spring broke which i was not happy about it seems quite a few people have had the same problem.
    apart from that its been a great air rifle although i would recommend getting a replacement trigger from charliedatuna for it hes a guy in the states and the trigger will transform this rifle

    update 3...

    BSA were good as their 'no quibble' word and sent me a new set of mounts for scope.

    Person I bought the SMK 19 gun for quite liked it, and again no misfires, really do not know what happened. Will update if it happens again.

    just good gun handling to be aware where its pointing at all times eh...

    like the classic 'this is a glock .40 I'm the only person in this room (as far as I know) qualified to handle it...' blam... shoots himself in the foot... :) ...

    Update 2... Well, took the SMK 19 gun back, much embarrassment, couldn't reproduce the problem... cant say what happened... fired about 50 rounds at shops range and no problem. another 30 pellets later no problems... another 10 or 20 today no problems.

    as I said in first review... once scope is anchored its quite an accurate gun, several cloverleafs.

    so... recommend pointing at ground when closing.

    Update on previous review by me, 3rd day with SMK 19 gun, about 6th pellet... started misfiring, cock, load pellet close barrel and it does not fire...

    break barrel again and close it and it fires as soon as closed without touching the trigger.... quite dangerous really... fortunately I was careful and pointed gun at earth....

    might be cheap... but if thats what it does... its worse than useless...

    gave one star as it does not let you give 0 stars...

    got the SMK19 .177 air rifle yesterday, £90 from Kibworth shooting ground, put a BSA essencial sight on it... perhaps the spelling was forewarning, but spent an hour messing with gun and sight yesterday and was not impressed but mainly with the telescopic sight... parralax errors and not sure yet if it only accurately zero's at one magnification... the allen bolts are very shoddy about a 2.7 not 2.5 and sight was loose yesterday which didn't help.

    Today tightened up and zero'd the telesco ...

    SMK 19 has Superb accuracy and power little recoil and relitivly quiet. Powerful enough not to be effected by wind and retains projectory for a long distance.
    This is an overall great air rifle!!!

    The SMK 19 is a good value starting air rifle- get a good scope and you should be OK.Bought mine to eliminate Grey Squirrels and Magpies from my garden. Virtually 100% kill at 20 yards. Recommend Logun Penetrator pellets 20.5 gr - Chrono at 9.76 ft lb.

    The Smk B19 is my first air rifle and thats why i've given it 8/10 because I don't know much about them. However i know that this gun is pretty powerful considering it shoots trough two cat food tins all the way through both sides of each. I bought mine for around £100 Brand new, Thanks to a bit of barganing. It easily kills rabbits and other vermin from 30 ft. Its a great starter gun a little out of the price range of some starter (including me) but it is worth scraping togther a few mor ...

    SMK 19 is a good piece of kit i have had it a while now and have had a few nice kills with it. It can easily knock down a pigeon and hopefully squirrels and rabbits.
