    Good Points: Good position half way up the hill
    Great breakfast
    Fantastic onsen on site
    Some rooms have private onsen


    Bad Points: None


    General comments: The Hirafutei Hotel has a ski run at the back door you can ski down and walk up the back stairs to the hotel. It is located half way up the hill in the main village. We stayed in a room with a small private onsen big enough for 2 people (fantastic) allthough we found ourselves using the main onsen as it is truely a great Japanese experience. Buffet breakfast was great. Rooms are on the small size but this seems to be the norm in Japan.
