THIS COMPANY IS A CON. DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH BUSINESS TELECOM WHO I BELIEVE ARE NOW OPERATING UNDER ANOTHER NAME. They owe us over £300 - comprising of 6months money back agreement for new phone and buy out fee from 02, they cancelled my account with 3 and said I had done it and therefore it broke our contract with them so they do not have to pay me! 3 no longer have a contract with them and we have no come back except through Business Telecom who you can not contact. I found this review very helpful because...they have did the same to my partner, left with a £300 bill to pay to orange after them offering to buyout the contract, liars, they said they did not offer this and do not have the call recorded, we got an accountant to phone them up and ask for a deal, they then offered to buy out his contract (fake one of course) they started flapping when he told them why he was really on the phone and told him to contact accounts manager! We are still no further forward, has anyone actually got their money back from these devious thugs?

Appalling company. First off, they agreed to pay half of my existing contract. They failed to do this and later I got a summons for an unpaid bill!! When my contract was up they sent me a new phone to consider. I considered it for about 2mins and sent it straight back. Despite this, my account was debited without my knowledge. I was contacted by this company asking me if i wanted to save some money by agreeing to a 3 mobile phone. They sent me a phone on a 7 day trial which i was happy with and agreed to transfer my number. I later found that I had longer left on my original contract through fault of my own and Business Telecom were very gracious and offered me £100 towards my termination fee. FANTASTIC! i'm glad i waited to upgrade because this is a better package than what i would have got off Vodaphone (who i've been with for 5 years and always massively overcharge on my bills) i need unlimited internet for internet, facebook, skype and stuff and they've put it in my tariff and still stayed UNDER 30 quid! really pleased, i got the brand new X6 off the tele aswel! with 16gb for music. This company are a bunch of sharks, DO NOT ENTER INTO ANY AGREEMENT WITH THEM. THEY ARE LIARS. they are complete scam artists who will get you in to a contract under false pretences. We were promised a 7 day no obligation free trial to test out the new 3g network,which was rubbish, but the no obligation turned out to be a 7 day cooling off period, so because we returned the phones "out with" the 7 days we were then liable for a 24 month contract and all associated bills even though we had no handsets....

Business Telecomm are a waste of space! they contacted me out of the blue to sign me up on a contract, i explained i was already in a contract with Orange they told me they would buy out the remainder of my contract with orange and never did! Contact your new network provider to report business telecom. Dealer's are not telecommunications providers so are not regulated by Ofcom however the mobile networks are. The network should have a procedure to investigate your complaint.

I took out a 2 year contract with Orange and they promised me a cash back, got something at first but now getting nothing, they even promised me a phone upgrade half way through the contract, that never happen and they knew it. I found this review very helpful because...unfortunately, I have found them equally useless. The phone arrived promptly on the promise of a 7 day no quibble return if not satisfied with either phone or new network. They then shut down for xmas which invalidated any return. Reception on the new network it rubbish and i often think the phone is about to catch fire when i use it. I phoned enqiring why the phone accessories they promised had not arrived and cot the usual customer service flannel. The girl apologised and vowed that they would be sent by recorded delivery within 48hrs. I thanked her (not believing a word she said) and when she asked if there was anything else she could help me with, I asked her to verify my name and address the accessories were being sent to - she hadn't a clue! caught in the act telling lies. I gave her the details and (you guessed it) no accessories. Avoid this lot like the plague. They rate lower than politicians.

We were told and it also states in their terms and conditions. You can return the phone to us within 7 working days which we did and have sent proof to them. they recieved it within this time also. If you can prove you returned the handset within the cooling off period then contact the network provider. Even if you cannot prove this contact them anyway. If you don't complain then nothing will be done about this dealer.

I found this review helpful because the same thing has happen to me. The representative confirmed several times that the agreement is on the yearly basis and that I have to have a digital telephone system but now I have found out that I am bound to a 7 years agreement and I can not come out of it. They do not return my phone calls and do not respond to my letters.

I found this review helpful because... We too have been well and truely had hook line and sinker by Business Telecom. Try to phone about a query and they are always in a "meeting" and will call you back (Not). Paying thousands of pounds for a phone system that I could have bought anywhere for a fraction of the price. Have learnt a expensive lesson. But also nice to know that we are not the only ones.

I have exactly the same issue. Completely miss sold, costs a fortune and has added nothing to the business. Have taken legal action but our 7 year contract is water tight. Ofcom have advised me contact Consumer Direct.
