I ' ve had the Blackberry 8800 handset for over a year now, as an upgrade to the Blackberry 7100. It took a friend who used one persistently to peak my interest in getting a new one and I am glad I got one!
When taking it out of the box the first thing I really noticed was how nice and shiny it was! A notion soon to be erased as soon as I touched it, it seems to attract fingerprints more than American airport security! The Blackberry 8800 is brilliant. It does what it says on the can. Bluetooth connectivity and signal reception is brilliant. Email manipulation is easy and quick using the full qwerty keyboard and funky trackball which soon becomes second nature to use. I love this phone. The GPS is a gimmick but heck it works and I have resorted to it several times so maybe it is me that is out of sorts with the use!
