    Good Points: As a resort, I would recommend it for beginner and intermediate skiers.


    Bad Points: None


    General comments: The Geilo hotel is a short walk from the train station. It is also just 5 minutes from the ski lifts. There was bag and bags of snow in Geilo and the skiing conditions were excellent. The ski lifts are well really well looked after and we noticed that families with children where really well looked after, as staff would slow the lifts down and help get the children get on.

    The Geilo hotel, has really basic but clean rooms with ours facing the village. Breakfast consisted of cold meats, cheese, a few cereals and bread - this is the case in most hotels in the area. The hotel also has a roomy bar which had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing seamed to much trouble.
