The Geilo hotel is a short walk from the train station. It is also just 5 minutes from the ski lifts. There was bag and bags of snow in Geilo and the skiing conditions were excellent. The ski lifts are well really well looked after and we noticed that families with children where really well looked after, as staff would slow the lifts down and help get the children get on.
