I had been using NX6325 for over 14 months and found this system is stable and capable to process day to day work fast enough. If you are comparing the speed from Intel processor yes it will be slower and that is the fact. However by judging the build quality at the price I bought this unit at that time (est. USD1200) with 3 yrs door step service. I have not other chance.

Furthermore, I have been spending lots of time looking for laptop which is not using Wide screen. IMHO, Wide Screen is ...

Wowful quality for a name like HP in my experience...Power adapter failed 3 times. After 3 months 7 months and 13 months thankfully last time replaced when out of warranty I suppose no luck the next time it fails.
Motherboard failed after 4 months replaced,
    Screen failed after 14 months
    Binned!

This is a great buy for a small business but do not buy for your home computer as the battery lasts no longer than 20mins from full charge and as the computer only has 512 RAM it is SLOW!. Also the laptop/notebook is heavy. If you were to but this laptop/notebook i would recommend upgrading certain things including RAM,sound card and a bigger hard drive.

Not good. I've had my NX6325 just over 6 months and practically everything that could have gone wrong with it, has gone wrong with it. When the laptop was no more than 3 months old, the power supply broken, not a good start. 'HP' promptly replaced it, but the problems did not end there! A few weeks later the hinges on the screen snapped and therefore, the lid does not close any more! The soundcard is also faulty, as it broke when being used to do a friends disco, it let me down big time!

Having used one of these at work I quickly bought one for home, and work as since picked up two more. For me, the great features are the built-in memory card reader and DVD burner. When I'm away from home I like to be able to view pictures I've taken that day and sometimes burn them (or video material) to CD or DVD.

Otherwise this is a competent laptop running Windows XP, it comes in a few flavours depending on your memory and graphics requirements but even the base model (which I bought for ...
