Broke down within first to months under warranty.
Two years on pump failure another expensive repair.
If you get one take extended warranty you are likely to need it.. Never again.
Wash performance is poor too. Very poor value for money. (read more)

Bought it brand new and even though it is ikea (called Renlig) as it is made by whirlpool I expected much better performance. Luckily we took out an extended warranty (five year cover) at the same time. It broke down once within the first year and then two more time afterwards- it has needed a new control panel, new motor as well as other parts. After it broke down on the fourth time the engineer said it would cost too much to repair- so we are now waiting for a replacement dishwasher. Would... (read more)

Spend a bit more on something decent. Poor cleaning performance and ours broke down after 18 months. A new motor is £200 fitted. I would not buy whirlpoool again. (read more)
