“Excellent bat light pick up and great middle ”

I have uses this bat for a year now and it's still is intact showing how strong the bat is. The bat is worth how much it is. I booth it for £70 last year and its worth that. The bat hasn't got any major crack even though i play against really fast bowlers for my club. I have scored one 100 and five 50's with it and I am quite happy with slazenger. (read more)

“Very good value for money”

It's a very good bat that is very light. The bat speed is incredible and most of the shots hit the middle of the bat and fly off. I have used this bat for a season now and still there are no crack so its value for money. (read more)

“Excellent worth the money”

I bought this bat for £30 and it does not dissappoint, the sweet spot it's every ball like a tracer bullet. The bat is also quite light and doesn't feel heavy. It's made from grade 2 Kashmir willow which gives it the strength to last a long time. I like the design of the bat as i usually break my bats because of the handle snapping off, but on the v500 the handle is reinforced onto the bat. So far so good :) (read more)

“Solid Middle but will not last a season”

This is my first Slazenger Bat and I have to say I am terribly disappointed. I buy a new bat every season and have used CA, MRF, Ihsan, GM, and Gray-Nicholls, the best of which I found to be the MRF and Gray-Nicholls. Having given my bat to a professional to treat an knock in, I received a call saying that the willow is poor quality and is splitting on the edges and on the face. The ball comes off the face fast even when not struck hard, i think this is a very good cricket bat and i recommend it for everyone else, the only problem i have with the Slazenger V500 is that it doesnt sound very good when you comment with it. (read more)

I thought the Slazenger V500 was rubbish. Its far too heavy and not nearly strong enough. There are so many better crickets bats available to you, not matter what type of player you are. (read more)

This cricket bat is really good. I have been playing cricket for over 15 years and I have gone through so many bats over the years but the Slazenger V500 is a great bat for everyone to use. It looks great and feels so solid when you follow through a drive. (read more)
