    At first we were very pleased.Now its a nightmare.After a couple of years the door didnt close properly, now it is permanently locked shut,cracks appeared in the wall.When the Betterview engineer suggested repointing we declined and insisted on installing movement guages.The conservatory is pulling away from the house.Betterview told us that as the contract was with Betterview Windows and Conservatories Ltd we would have to contact the Plastics Window Federation.Their engineer told us we were not alone in our problems and the conservatory will need to be rebuilt.The Federation say they will not pay as the faults are a consequence of incorrect footings being laid for this area.Betterviews surveyor designed the plans.My sleepless nights are a direct result of using Betterview.

    Had a conservatory fitted by Betterview and now we have moss growing and insects inbetween the panels in the roof - found out the flashing used should only be used as a temporary measure(was told by the insurance company). Also had a front door fitted and found out that the frame was filled with paper tissue and then cemented over. Also the locks broke after a year (found out that all locks and fittings are only guaranteed for one year)- paid £1,500 for this! Also electrical wires to the ...

    Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant - Just had Windows & Doors fitted, Sales & Office staff very friendly, fitting team A1 a nice set of lads. I had one problem with the front door and that was sorted out within days. Well done Betterview.

    Crap crap crap, these people should be ashamed of themselves we had a conservatory built 2007 which now leaks and when I phoned them up we was told thay had gone into administration Sept 2008, during which time we were struggling to get our extension completed now we know why! When we tried to claim with the Insurers (the plastic window Federation)only to be told that they had not covered us with insurance.     betterview are a disgrage... less than a year after being built we saw cracks apearinng on the 3/4 height brickwall that joins the conservatory to the house. After months on phone calls they eventually sent an odd job man round to "filler up the gap" . after about a month the crack reapeared and has now split all the way down the wall to the point where I CAN SEE DAYLIGHT THROUGH MY WALL!!!!.     We purchased a conservatory from Betterview about 3 years ago. The whole thing from start to finish was a fight. The conservatory wall has completely cracked, windows don't close and has moved considerably as they did not pile it. When called them to fix kept stalling and went into administration and said use their insurance which was void for our problems. They are still trading under another name but don't fix anybodys problems. Very bad Co.

    We have tried to organise a flat roof from Betterview. They immediately took our £200.00 deposit but never called to give us an installation date. We called several times, and eventually they have agreed to give us our deposit back (haven't got it at time of posting this), this is one month after they cashed it. We were going to get a conversatory done by them, fortunately, we have gone to Smith's instead. Staff at Betterview are very unhelpful when things go wrong.

    We had a porch built four or five years ago by Betterview,recently we noticed cracks appearing,they got worse and the floor started coming away from the walls,a window is crooked and the door will no longer lock,the whole thing is wonky.Their surveyor came and said it was fine,nothing to worry about,we only needed to worry when we could fit our fists in the cracks.I called a chartered surveyor in for a second opinion,he said it was one of the worst he had seen and is in the process of writing a ...

    We had our conservatory fitted by betterview windows,which appeared ok. After one year 3 roof panels showed signs of mould between the two panels. These 3 panels were replaced under the warranty. After another two years they were in the same state. I have tried to get them replaced, by constantly contacting by Phone and Letter Betterveiw. They have told me they have not received my first two letter,I have been told that their insurance company does not cover roof panels. I have been given the ru ...

    House front door fitted 2 years ago after 9 months the centre panel started to split and continued to split until it reached the raised moulding in the centre. Betterview contacted about the problem and a new centre panel was installed, a year later and exactly the same thing has happened but this time Betterview told me to contact the plastics federation who the Betterview gaurantee is with but they are saying that the gaurantee only covers window or door frames and glass so hard luck, This doo ...

    We received an excellent service from Betterview Windows. Right from the sales rep through to the fitters. They were very clean and tidy and we have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending BetterView. One again thank you for a lovely conservatory and well done to the whole team!

    Debris fell into our garden (next to the house that was having worked carried out) and our dog was injured. We have not received any response from our correspondence, now three months old, we have not received an apology. The health and safety was non existent!

    We can only recommend betterview. The overall experience of our conservatory is that we are glad we did not go elsewhere.

    We can only think that we have been lucky, as we wonder what the Betterview Windows service would have been like if we had issues with their product after fitting, and how would they have honoured their after sales agreement?
